My layout looks so stupid on my giant work monitor. Waaaah! ;~~; (I'm on my lunch break!) My screen resolution at home is 800x600 so I always do my layout with that in mind. But it looks so ridiculous on a larger screen. =( I wonder if I should design for a larger resolution in the future, or just continue making them to my personal screen resolution preference seeing as I look at my layout more than anyone else ever will (friends see it on their friends page which is in their own layout)....

Blah... 2 and a half more hours till the weekend and I'm just hoping I have enough work to fill it. That's the only drawback of my seasonal position starting over a month earlier than it did last year, a lack of tasks. I need to keep having things to do or I won't have a job (well I would in a month when things get busy for the summer, but my hours would be cut) and I like being employed.

I especially like being employed here at O.A.R.S.. It's a cool place to work really. Beyond free/discounted river rafting and kayaking (two of my favorite outdoor activities EVER!) it just has a fun, laidback atmosphere even when everyone is swamped and stressed. Plus like last summer, in a 6 month span there was like 4-5 parties! XD It's a rather liberal "crunchy granola" company, but I like it. =)

I'm really excited for next weekend. O.A.R.S. is sponsoring Bear Valley Ski Resort's end of the season "Pond Skimming" party/event. If you haven't heard of it, pond skimming is where people ski down a hill and into a pond. Whoever makes it furthest out into the water on their skiis before falling in wins! =) The O.A.R.S. people are taking a raft down the snowy hill into the pond! Hypothermia never sounded so good. I can't wait! =D There's also free skiing/snowboarding for O.A.R.S. employees. I've never tried either, but I'm open to falling on my face.

At work right now were also doing 4-week-long "Biggest Loser" competition. I decided to to the Jillian Michael's 30 day shred... my everything hurts.... =(

Sorry for rambling about work, but I feel guilty doing LJ here, even on my lunch break, so my mind is kinda preoccupied. Got to go, lunch is over now!

Make it for yourself. That's what I always do. As you said, you're the one who has to look at it the most. My layout is for my screen, so it doesn't work on small screens and resolutions - they cut off everything under the big pic of D on left. It works for me, though. XD

Thanks XD I always like your layouts (briefly adjust my screen resolution so I can see them) but they're always sooooo huge XD I like my small screen because it make the text nice and big (my computer is set really far back on my desk).

And thanks for your advice in the comment below. I think I knew that but totally forgot, lol So I changed my layout anyways, now it looks good big and small =D Still best small, but it's for me. It's sexay Crawford/Schuldig tiemz XD

BTW - if you're worried about the entries expanding so wide they don't match the pic, you can always force the width of the entries to be what you want and center them... it's not that difficult if you know HTML; at least if you use the old style system like I do. I don't know what the editing is like in the new one.

Oooh, the new layout is pretty. :)

And it's great that you're liking your job so much.

Best of luck on the workout thing! *crosses fingers*
